Ideazfirst 5-star framework: A New Way to Classify Healthcare & Medical Services

5-star Framework

This is our global framework for defining the company operations and business, and identifying gaps, conflicts, inconsistencies, and missing dots vis a vis the best practices. Regardless of the challenges and opportunities being faced, it supports every industry segment, size and geography, and our development so that we can continue to adapt and bring about necessary changes to thrive and grow, even in uncertain times.

Application of 5-star framework in healthcare - A hospital is one of the most complex industries to operate, due to the 24 X7 operations, critical care, emergencies, and dealing with very skilled professionals and customized service deliveries. No two patients are the same or require similar treatments.

Air - E2 - Human Resource - The doctors, nurses, paramedics, clinical staff, administrative & management professionals.

Partners, Corp Clients, Health Insurance Agencies & Vendors, , pharmaceutical companies, equipment providers, contractual service providers like security, cleaning and sanitation,

Fire - E3 - Medical Products, services, branding, packages, branding, and marketing of the hospital.

Industry Size and trends

The Key Concerns - Allopathic system has the largest reach and large number of professionals, and the medical practitioners / health care professionals think that their methods are most scientific & best.  Modern medical science practitioners have a tendency to look down upon traditional and other health care practices. Indian Medical Association (IMA) is at war with alternative healthcare practices, and has protested against the announcement of 58 surgical procedure authorizations for Ayurveda by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). https://theprint.in/health/govt-issues-list-of-surgeries-select-ayurveda-practitioners-can-perform-draws-flak-from-ima/549824/

On the other hand, there has been a growing skepticism among patients with respect to Allopathic treatments and modern medicine, especially in April 2021, (the second wave of Covid 19), when lot of people got infected with serious consequences and even death after taking both the doses of vaccines or undergoing treatments in hospitals with adverse side effects of medicine causing Black Fungus, Myocarditis and Pericarditis

Patients are always in a dilemma which treatment method to opt for, Ayurveda, allopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy, or pranic healing. As each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. And none of the treatment is complete and holistic in itself. For example - The ayurveda has limitations that the relief method is comparatively slower, but the results are permanent and cost effective.
There is a massive mindset change required among the existing healthcare professionals who should not consider other practitioners their competitors. Basic Training during the medical studies can bring in the required mindset change among practitioners.

Ideazfirst Recommends - Customer was always the King, here are some solutions to make the King feel good about. We recommend merging of all the healthcare platforms -
Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Heliotherapy, Yoga, Meditation, Nutrition, Homeopathy and Modern Medicine for holistic well being. There should be one hospital where patients should be able to choose their mode of treatment and easily switch to another mode if they find there is little or no improvement in the health conditions.
